Sarah Sylvester

Worked with other coaches to demonstrate different volleyball skills to athletes of various ages and skill levels. Helped to organize activities to do with the campers during down time. Was in charge of my own court and was responsible for keeping the campers engaged and on task. I assisted with the set up and closing of responsibilities of the camp. I ran the camp storing selling both camp merchandise and snacks to athletes and their family members.

Scheduled and organized individual lessons with an aspiring volleyball athlete. Planned individualized practices to best serve and improve the skills of the athlete.

Had lesson with one student at a time where I taught the student simple vocabulary and helped them to read simple children's books.

• Volunteer work to help with the beautification of Detroit
• Partaking in different activities like mural painting and neighborhood gardens to help the the city and its people
• Also spent time engaging with the youth in different day care/ youth camp activities

Organized monthly tutoring sessions with a younger student at my school to review Spanish vocabulary. Assisted with with Spanish practice problems and homework.
