After graduating High School I had a high interest in a nursing career, I wanted to begin at the bottom so I became a C.N.A while working a part time job in the fast food industry. After being a C.N.A. for over 3 years I decided that maybe that wasn't the best fit and I'd like maybe go for a teaching degree. I applied and was accepted into Simpson University in Redding, Ca but after moving there and getting into a dorm I was informed that I didn't qualify for the financial support I needed to attend. I ended up back in a nursing field while continuing my education at College of the Siskiyous. I really wanted to finish college without encountering any debt. While I have enough credits for an associates degree because of the change of my courses of going from medical to teaching I did not receive an actual associates degree. I ended up going to beauty school as a way in to paying for furthering my education, and then ended up managing apartments full time. I got married, started a family and moved from the apartments. My husband and I began foster care and his career in the Law enforcement field took off. When we moved to Casper, Wyoming I wanted to work in the same place as my children so I took a job as a substitute teacher which led me to a full time pre school teacher for part of the 2018 year. I resigned at the school and did not take a job until this last year when I was offered a position at Rescued Treasures. I resigned due to an inflexibility of my work schedule.
I am a very creative person. I love to design, draw and paint. Baking and cooking relaxes and refreshes me as does reading. I have written and directed plays for our church which we are also very heavily involved in.
