During my volunteer work in Kenya I spent a full month as a teaching assistant in the local primary and secondary schools teaching subjects such as math, english, agriculture, art, and gym. This expedience taught me important lessons such as leadership, determination, problem-solving, and communication. I also spent a week building the foundation of a new primary school for the local area.
