COMMUNICATION

Collaborating with mentor teachers, grade level teams, parents, administrators, and other colleagues to make sure that each student has an equal opportunity to access curriculum and succeed. As a teacher, I maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, behavior management, and social-emotional development.

LEADERSHIP

While attending Gonzaga University I was a member of the Gonzaga Cheerleading Team, serving as team captain my senior year. This experience included participating in complicated stunts, performing in front of thousands of people, and traveling the country with a division 1 basketball team. More importantly, this experience helped me learn to manage my time, perform under extremely high-pressure situations, and effectively communicate with a wide variety of people as a representative of my school, which I plan to continue as I move forward in my teaching career.
