Passionate in serving at-risk youth through the Juvenile Justice System with 10 years of experience volunteering and working directly in community-based care. Over the last 10 years I have become passionate about being a participant in the rehabilitation of youth who are within the Criminal Justice System by providing strength-based care. I recently obtained my Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and graduated with honors.

  • Provide clinical oversight to a team of 4 Family Intervention Specialist who each carry a caseload of 5.
  • Responsible for the following: reviewing and approving all treatment plans prior to the date the plan goes into effect, conducting field visits to the homes of the various families we serve, provide individual development for each staff, approve all family session notes, conduct a weekly clinical supervision meeting to review each family’s case that we are serving.
  • Provide weekly development meetings for each staff.
  • Provide approval for PTO, Kronos hours and sick time.
  • Provide semi-annual & annual reviews for all staff.

  • Carried a caseload of 5 families and provided intensive in-home services to each family.
  • Responsible for meeting 3x weekly with each family.
  • Responsible for conducting Risk Trauma Assessments, Psychosocial Assessments, Columbia Screener’s and Child Adolescent Trauma Assessments for each family.
  • Responsible for utilizing the information obtained in all assessments to build evidenced-based treatment plans.
  • Responsible for case conceptualization after retrieving the results from each assessment.
  • Responsible for creating safety plans and inputting all documentation in a medical database titled EVOLV.

  • Facilitated all church programming and individual sessions with youth who were incarcerated in the Franklin County Juvenile Detention Center.
  • Participated in one-on-one sessions with youth, providing clinical, spiritual and life skills assistance to youth.
  • Supervised a volunteer team of 6, ensuring that youth were visited and stable while in detention.
  • Completed monthly statistic reports via Microsoft Access which highlighted the work taking place within the Juvenile Detention Center from Youth for Christ.
