Leading the Finance and HR Division for Commutatus Private Limited and following are the major roles and responsibilities.

• Bookkeeping and accounting, including passing journal entries, reconciling general ledgers and bank statements on Quick Books, establishing and maintaining fiscal files and records to document transactions, managing bank reconciliation, finalizing the Books of Accounts, and liaising with auditors.
• Invoicing, payment follow-ups, and escalations in case of short payments or delays, with timely and effective communication with internal departments for issue resolution.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and preparing financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Assisting in the preparation of budget forecasts, reviewing actuals and executing budgetary controls, and preparing monthly budget vs
• Actual analysis.
• Setting up processes and strategies to have effective cash flow and identifying operational improvement opportunities and driving implementation.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable Indian accounting framework and direct/indirect tax laws.
• Finalization of monthly payroll, managing payroll taxes and filing the returns, Preparation of Salary slips and reports, preparation of the annual tax computation.
• Developing and executing comprehensive hiring strategies to attract top-tier talent. Implementing onboarding programs to facilitate seamless integration of new hires into the organization.
• Overseeing the performance appraisal process, ensuring fair and transparent evaluations. Collaborating with department managers to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance goals.
• Managing and overseeing the leave management system, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Fostering positive working relationships through effective communication and conflict resolution. Staying abreast of labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR practices align with legal requirements.

• Ebiquity India Private Limited a subsidiary of Ebiquity PLC, a London Stock Exchange Listed Company who are a leading independent marketing and media consultancy
• I was hired as a Freelance External Accountant to streamline the accounting and taxation processes and to implement processes and strategies to have an effective cash flow
• I led the team of 4 members to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, resulting in improved business outcomes.

• Led a team of thirty-five people on a Freelance Project for subsidiaries of the conglomerate L&T Group
• The project involved managing payroll processing and ensuring the finalization of annual tax computations for L&T employees, which included verifying and auditing Form C
• In addition to this, I oversaw the preparation of End-of-Day (E.O.D) Management Information System (MIS) reports, which were shared with the L&T Group's management.

• Taxation (Direct & Indirect) Compliance incl
• Individual and Corporate Tax Return Preparation and Tax Audit under Direct & Indirect Tax Laws and TDS & TCS Return preparation.
• Finalization of Accounts & Statutory Audit of Companies involving compliance with Corporate Law Provisions, CARO, Accounting Standards, Auditing Standards issued by ICAI.
• Inventory Audit and Internal Audit for various MNCs.
• Submission of certifications for foreign remittances under Income Tax and FEMA Regulations and complying with the Double Taxation Avoidance Agreement for UK, Singapore, Japan, Shanghai, etc.
