Satya Venkata Anirudh Neriyanuru

This is my first ever part time job and being a part of the Guest Services division of the heart of Arizona State University (Memorial Union) significantly changed my life by improving my communication skills to a whole new level. I am also thrilled that I now know how to deal with people, especially the relatively frustrated and grumpy ones. My main responsibilities in this position include:

- Correct guest issues promptly with knowledgeable and friendly service.

- Welcoming large volume of guests and improved overall customer service.

- Collaborating with fellow guest service teams to provide exceptional assistance to guests.

- Managing customer complaints and rectified issues to complete satisfaction.

- Providing guests with positive experience and professional impression.

- Helping customers book appointments, accepted payments and answered guest questions.

- Overlook the activities and happenings in the first floor.

- Help evacuate the building in emergency situations, mainly fire.

- Handling the lost and found and emailing people according to their Sun Card ID's credentials to let them know about their lost items.

I am also being trained to use Sales Force at the moment.

My high school was a part of the Rastrotthana Parishat (a government funded organization that holds blood donation camps, relief camps for victims of natural disasters, education for the kids of the poorer sections of India ). I volunteered in one of their blood donation camps just before graduating high school. My responsibilities were:

- To make sure the donors are provided with nutritious meals to regain their stamina

- Coordinate with the medical staff in identifying and documenting each patient's information and blood type.

- Guiding first-timers through the whole process and appreciating them in advance for their forthcoming noble deed.

- Maintained clean, neat, and operational facilities to serve program needs.

• Detected issues by performing quality assurance tests on 7+ projects.
• Checked functional requirements by assisting with QA test planning.
• Complied with company and regulatory requirements related to safety and quality.
• Identified quality problems and recommended solutions.
