Saul Perez Sanchez

I worked with elementary students and helped them with their homework. Usually around the end of the year and in the summer. This was mainly for kids who wanted to improve their grades and other various study habits. Only did this for one summer because I got busy with school after it.

A couple of the things I did:

• Provided homework assistance using specific curriculum and materials.
• Supported students with helpful study habits and exam strategies.
• Collaborated with students to complete homework assignments, identify lagging skills, and correct weaknesses.
• Motivated students towards learning and studying to build self-confidence and reduce fear of failure.

I volunteered to pick up trash in different areas around Redwood City. We would get there early and drive to multiple areas that had a lot of trash. We'd pick everything, or at least the trash we had access to. It usually just lasts about a day. I've done this quite a few times for community service hours and to help out around the community.
