Hard-working biomedical engineering student set to graduate this May, with 5+ semesters of biomedical instrumentation work. Aiming to leverage proven knowledge of product innovation, experimental design, and project management skills to contribute to the Department of Neurology at Dell Medical School.
LabView
Fully implantable, continuous dialysis unit (patent pending):
Designed and implemented a working benchtop model of a fluid system that connects dialysis filtration unit to the iliac artery as well as an external dialysate reservoir.
EKG Circuit and User Interface:
Constructed electrocardiogram and diagnostic UI. Designed signal conditioning circuit and LabView signal processing/DAQ module.
Novel Emphysema-on-a-Chip Model for Biomedical Experimentation:
Created 'Emphysema-on-a-Chip' in vitro model to allow for the study of the disease and its progression in a controlled microfluidic system as well as the effect of therapies on emphysematous patients at every stage of the disease.
Mounted Humidity Modulator Design and Build:
Invented a compact, mounted humidity modulator that can maintain proper humidity levels from within a closed system by adjusting them accordingly using a water atomizer .
