Responsible for obtaining vital signs, conducting head to toe patient assessments, accurate patient charting in the electronic health record (EHR), medication administration, communicating effectively with the patient, family, and care team, assisting with performing activities of daily living (ADLs), practicing proper safety and infection control, providing patient advocacy and education, and utilizing critical thinking in the clinical care setting.
