Hi, my name is Sawyer Hirsch. I am an ambitious and friendly student learning automotive repair and engineering. I am looking for a paid internship where I can learn career focused skills and expand my knowledge of engineering. I will work from 2:30pm to as late as 11:00pm. This internship would last from now to mid June, however, I can work full time starting in mid June. I can provide value to your company with my consistent work ethic, eagerness to learn, and prior knowledge of engines. I am in my second year of an automotive service class where I am teaching students how to do services from use a torque wrench, to measuring and changing brake parts, to identifying faults. I have gained lots of experience as an automotive technician at Hinton Chevrolet. I am hoping to step into a role learning about the engineering behind the systems I have worked on.
I have done everything from transmission swaps, head gaskets, and clutches to diagnosis of mechanical and electrical issues. I hope to expand my knowledge on electrical systems.
