Projects
Lab Experience - Genetics: I am using a cancer gene and performing Rabadox (a brand new method) in cells. Using optimized (very specific and very efficient) ribozymes, the end goal is to have a very accurate, targeted cell death. This research, if everything goes the way it's supposed too, could be a breakthrough for chemotherapy.
Research - Microplastic Concentration in Water: While I never got to actually present my research, I spent a semester and a half going through the whole process. My group and I did a mock presentation with our poster but we had issues with equipment in class which led to us not being able to completely finish.
