As a Non-Clinical Tasker, I assist the Bariatric and Orthopedic Coordinator in providing the best care possible to patients before and after joint replacements and weight-loss surgery. My responsibilities include helping teach pre-operative classes to help ensure patients are well-prepared for their upcoming surgery. We round on patients with the orthopedic surgeons to monitor progress and address concerns. I also check in on patients post-operatively to provide support and ensure they follow their recovery plans.
