  • Then tasked to generate “Integrations”, which initially were business realization specifications for each of the service, which later evolved into just API swagger documentation.
  • MuleSoft for system integration, used the MuleSoft API tool to document the APIs as could generate the endpoints from the ESB tools for the Sales Force, and Oracle DB, and external services which Hertz interacted with.
  • Create APIs using Swagger, MuleSoft AnyPoint Studio, and API Manager.

  • For each of four vertical business areas evaluated each development group’s applications to be converted to Event Driven Architecture (EDA) Spring Boot based microservices application and deployed to Cloud utilizing Jenkins based Continuous Development Continuous Delivery (CICD) to build Docker container PODs.
  • Evaluate each development groups’ application to determine and build Cloud resources required and provide infrastructure built via pipeline scripts where Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Google Compute Engines (GCE) were used for storage and Applications used Spring Boot Containers with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) with some applications moved to Amazon (AWS) and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) due to licensing and product warranties required by vendors for some applications.
  • Infrastructure pipeline provisioned all Compute Engines and Docker Containers to have security, auditing, user roles and authentication tied to Active Directory (AD) and LDAP, network routes and firewalls rules inserted via separate infrastructure pipeline ansible, puppet, and chef scripting.
  • Infrastructure pipeline line utilized augmented Terraform scripting which created cloud resources on multiple zones, fall over which existed for each specific persistent storage solution such as: Kafka, Zookeeper, HashiCorp Consul, Apache Ignite, Apache Airflow, Rundeck, MySQL, MongoDB, Enterprise MongoDB, and Hadoop Compute Engines could be spun up in a clustered capacity spanning multiple regions utilizing high level metadata to enforce Security Rules, Firewall Rules, Network Routes, Data Schemas, Data Storage, Backups Schemes, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and User and Group Roles tied to Active Directory (AD) and LDAP all generated by pipeline using Meta-TAGS the infrastructure scripts keyed off in the customized Terraform high level scripts.
  • Created Proof of Concepts (POC) to attach all the infrastructure build pipelines to Service Now (SNOW) tickets to spin up development and production request off the Management Approved requests.
  • Rehosted Mainframe Purchasing Predictive Models, Ordering Models, Buyer Models from Mainframe to AWS Cloud.
  • Infrastructure pipeline provided all System Event Logs, Security Audit Logs, and Application Log Event Logs gathered with Kafka, Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana, and SPARK.
