  • As Director of EHR support, I oversee the support of electronic medical record (Cerner) and clinical applications for the North Carolina Division. We have 6 inpatient facilities, with the largest being an 850-bed hospital. Additionally, we support a post-acute facility, an outpatient surgery center, and over 100 ambulatory clinics.
  • I oversee the work of 5 Application Service Management teams with 5 managers and 40+ FTEs: Nursing Informatics, Surgery, Pharmacy, Registration and Scheduling, and Lab.
  • I ensure EMR system standards and compatibility with HCA standard information systems architecture, tools, policies, and procedures, and interact with corporate, division, and facility-level IT and executive leadership teams as needed in relation to clinical, technical, and customer support.
