- Maintained trunk levels for forward and return and balanced them to company specifications; resolved internet issues associated with noise by tracking interferences with various tools. Tools utilized were Arcom leakage detection system, Servassure and veex meter. These equipments were all used to identify CER/CCER issues on the internet causing slow speeds. Also was required to identify faults in trunk/feeder lines using a TDR and repair. Wifi maintenance ,Leakage and power supply were assigned according to fault type or SRO. Node maintenance includes testing fibers, cleaning and setting up forward/return levels. Performed all work in a safe manner and ensured all work is done in compliance with OSHA regulations. In addition to regular work hours, I was on-call for major outages, due to storms, accidents, and or cable/fiber cuts. We were also required to be on-call when a major storm was anticipated.
