- Worked as a line cook in food preparation in a high volume food service environment. Duties included food preparation, washing dishes, cleaning and cooking as well as cashier. Interacting with customers on a daily basis and completing transactions. Assisted in training new employees and was offered a management position at one point which I had respectfully turned down due to wanting to start a different occupation. This position also helped me to earn a high school credit as a work experience.

- Maintaining commercial and residential properties. Maintenance work was based off of work orders. Duties for maintenance included light plumbing, replacing lights, repairing drywall, removing/installing carpet, painting and other small building repairs. Installing shelves, fences, door handles etc. Using many different tools and machines. Operated cleaning machines and performed all cleaning duties. Also including yard work on a seasonal basis. The cleaning duties were on a daily basis including handling garbage & recycling, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows, dusting, waxing and sanitation.
