Leadership role focused on developing, implementing, and overseeing environmental programs, initiatives, and research within a specific organization or academic department. I provide leadership to the program team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices. Define the vision, goals, and objectives for the environmental program, aligning them with the organization's overall mission and strategic priorities.

Professor of Geology

Winthrop University

I manage major scientific instrumentation and two major research laboratories with multiple student workers and other faculty using the facilities. I teach 3 classes per semester on environmental subjects, such as water regulation and calculations, air quality, and soil pollution studies.Conducted and published original research in environmental and geological science resulting in dozens of peer reviewed publications and conference presentations.

Geohydrologist

Nuclear Regulatory Commission
05.2006 - 08.2007

Responsible for the regulation and licensing reviews of numerous nuclear power facilities in the US. I managed reviews and regulations for water quality, both surface and groundwater, air quality, geology, and energy alternative reviews. I was instrumental in the development of geographic information systems at the commission and worked on numerous additional technical reviews for modification to operation parameters for the water discharge. Reviews conducted of operating nuclear power plants were environmental regulations for both operations and waste disposal.
