Before starting employment for Net100 in 2007 I had my own company for 4 years from 2003 to 2007 providing custom design, installation, and sales for audio home theater systems for residential homes. Prior to that I worked for Net100 from 1991 to 2003. During that time my job experiences incudes but not limited to low voltage installation, termination, testing, and labeling of copper, coax, and fiber installations in both the residential and commercial environment performing installations that range from single size floors to whole buildings and campus type installations. During this time I also began taking the Bicsi certification courses starting from Installer 1 to Technician level. I currently am still holding the Technician and certified Bicsi trainer certifications and is up to date. Other certifications I received during my employment is all the major copper and fiber manufacturers which includes Commscope, Ortronics, Bix, Krone, Leviton,Hubbel, Sumitomo air-blown fiber systems, Telabs, and Belden, just to name a few. I also spent years in the service department providing troubleshooting scenarios as well as moves, adds, and changes. I spent roughly 2-3 years as a field installation manager managing multiple low voltage jobs with multiple crews. When I came back to Net100 in 2007 I took on the role to improve the overall quality and training throughout the 5 branches the company currently has. During this time I took on the role to become a certified Bicsi trainer and performed Bicsi certification classes throughout the years from Installer 1 through Technician level courses. Other tasks and training I obtained is the OSHA 60 hour OSP course which specializes in the safety, management, and installation for all outside plant based installations for the installation of copper, coax, and fiber low voltage cabling for both underground and aerial type installations. From 2007-current my specialty not only includes the quality and training throughout the company but I was also involved in countless specialty projects and situations that involved fiber and copper troubleshooting, project design, onsite engineering, fiber optic single and mass fusion splicing from ribbon fiber to cluster fiber, multimode and singlemode fusion and mechanical splicing.
