• Single Camera Video Production: This course taught me the fundamentals of video production. While working on short projects, I developed my pre-production, production, and post-production skills. The overall skill that I gained was how to operate a video camera, set up lighting, and record professional sound for interviews.

• Television Studio Production: The work I learned in this class was preproduction planning, script development, lighting design, audio design, the art of three-studio camera shooting, technical directing, and studio television directing. This course provided me the opportunity to work in a television studio while recording newscasts and videos for the college campus.

• Video for Web: This course taught me the knowledge about how to create engaging short videos that are in demand on the internet today. While using my phone, I was able to record video content, which I then edited and enhanced with graphics in Adobe Premiere to make it appear professional and media-ready.

• The News Media Landscape: Throughout this course, I got to examine the news media's relationship with society in historical, intellectual, economic, political, and social contexts. I was able to create numerous news pieces to present to our class and interview local companies and businesses within the community.
