Summary

Dynamic leader skilled in project coordination and safety management. Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives that optimize resources and enhance team performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and improving overall operational success.

I have an extensive amount of mechanical experience both executing the work and overseeing. I worked to gain a reputation for exceeding expectations and getting it done in a safe manner while staying within the budgeted timelines and capital investments.

I used to have a few issues with being able to work our younger employees without being too harsh. When I finally realized that everyone else could not be wrong and me right, so I looked inside to realize I needed mentoring to give me the skills needed to overcome this area. I realized that while I am know for getting the what accomplished I had to seriously work on the how part of it. I was mentored by Alan WLulf over several months and hen again with Dan Wesselman and Travis McClenithan to build tools to help me lead these younger employees to still accomplish the goals needed to keep Mosaic successful but doing it without having to be so harsh. I feel I have done a great job in this area, but i would ask if you are having any kind of thoughts in this area please contact Alan Lulf, Dan Wesselman or Travis McClenithan to get their views on my successes in this area.

I appreciate the opportunity.

  • As the dragline turnaround lead I am responsible for deciding with the dragline services team when to execute a turnaround. Then using the resources t my disposal such as Allied, AcurenI, Flanders inspections, gear inspections to build a scope to use Mosaic's capital to best maintain and increase the reliability of these assets. Once I have a scope I begin the bidding and quoting process to gather pricing. Once i have budgetary pricing work with the capital department to acquire funds as needed. When capital is tight, I develop a plan on what can be de-scoped and accomplished during routine repair days and then assist the planners to get that work accomplished. When the turnaround begins I am on site 7 days a week 10-18 hours a day to oversee and remove any obstacles that could impede progress.
