- Starting in 2020, a group of 10 other high school students and I were in a youth build project of a Sling 2 aircraft
- After receiving different parts of the kit every few months, we built the Sling 2 aircraft with the help of EAA mentors
- Work included riveting, assembling the fuselage, and engine mounting
- Once the plane was completed, a mentor along with a student flew it from Naples, Florida to Wisconsin where it was featured at the Oshkosh air show
