Bolsa Chica Ste Beach

Since 2022, I have participated in the Junior Lifeguard program at Bolsa Chica State Beach, gaining hands-on experience in water safety, first aid, teamwork, and beach operations. I worked with participants ages 8–14, helping teach foundational rescue skills and ensuring a safe, structured environment.
I was recognized as Junior Lifeguard of the Year twice within my group for leadership, responsibility, and performance. In 2024, after completing the program, I returned as a volunteer lifeguard aide, supporting instructors and assisting with training activities.
In 2025, I dedicated over 280 hours assisting the program, helping supervise approximately 300 junior lifeguards, supporting water safety instruction, and assisting in rescue and first aid scenarios. Through this experience, I developed strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
I have contributed to multiple water rescues and first aid responses, and I am trained in advanced first aid and emergency response procedures.
