Work History

Account Maintenance Specialist

Navajo Nation Capital Project Management Department
Window Rock
01.2025 - Current
  • I have been involved in projects that utilize heavy equipment and vehicles, funded by the Navajo Nation through Sihasin CIY-01-21 and CAP-35-18. This role requires communication with 110 chapters and the preparation of various reports, including annual forms, EASF, BASF, occasionally BRR, and budget forms. I will review the FMIS for budget amounts and ensure the correct codes are applied. Additionally, I will request two quotes from the chapters regarding their specific needs. If a micro-purchase is necessary, the request will proceed directly to the 6B processing stage. The bid submission process includes creating an Invitation to Bid (ITB), receiving a BID number, advertising the BID, scheduling the bid opening, and allowing the chapter to select a vendor that meets all requirements. Upon vendor selection, I will contact the vendor and process the payment through 6B. Knowledge of Navajo Nation, federal and state laws, regulations and guidelines governing aspects of tribal operations relative to project/program responsibilities. Knowledge of budget and reporting systems, program analysis and performance measures. Knowledge of project/program operational activities, mission and client service requirements. FMIS Certified.
