I am a junior at Alabama State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, with the goal of becoming a detective. My passion for criminal investigations and forensic science stems from my deep curiosity about solving complex cases and uncovering the truth. As a student-athlete, I have honed discipline, perseverance, and time management—balancing rigorous academic coursework, track and field, and leadership roles. My experience as an assistant manager at my university’s gym has strengthened my ability to lead a team, solve problems under pressure, and maintain a high level of responsibility. Additionally, my work as a Delta Sky Club Associate and sales representative at Cutco has sharpened my communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills—qualities that are essential for investigative work. Through case study research, mock crime scene investigations, and hands-on volunteer work, I have developed a keen eye for detail, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments. I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills in a real-world investigative setting, gaining hands-on experience that will prepare me for a career in law enforcement and forensic science. My strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to justice make me an ideal candidate for this internship opportunity.
