  • Managed 175 team members for sales, marketing, supply chain, product management, operations, finance, and data analytics.
  • Key achievements:.
  • Led a business turnaround increasing revenues pre-Covid 19 by 68% and customers over twofold in one year, representing the highest growth since the company’s founding in 2012.
  • We achieved this milestone by focusing on 4 key strategic initiatives: - reinventing dealer, direct, agent, and digital sales channels, - upgrading products and services to better meet customers’ needs, - improving operational efficiency, and - introducing installment payment options including digital money payments.
  • Increased dealer sales by 400% by integrating direct and dealer sales channels, providing the channel-fit product and building strong partnerships with 227 dealers.
  • Upgraded our products and introduced the pre-punched pipes mister, which became the most popular micro- irrigation product in the market and in Proximity history, resulting in record sales, and making Proximity’s Yetagon brand the most popular among farmers.
  • Improved the cash cycle from ~200 days to ~100 days by improving field inventory, account receivables, and payables.

  • Managed a successful team of over 20 members through trust-building, coaching, and training.

  • Managed a US $800,000 annual grant for 31 civil society organizations in Myanmar by identifying organizations to support, helping them to develop their proposals and reports, bridging the gaps in organizational development, and building the technical capacities of community based organizations working in human rights, women rights, natural resource rights, LGBTIQ and youth empowerment movements.
  • Key achievements:.
  • Bridged the cultural and knowledge gaps between fast paced New York based colleagues and slow-moving community-based organization in remote areas of Burma such as Kachin, Karen, and Shan states.
  • Campaigned successfully for field consultants’ maternity rights and other benefits, in addition to organizing and leading one of the best donors’ study trips to Burma.
  • Awarded a merit bonus for stellar performance, and represented AJWS staff in Asia at their annual board meeting.
