I enrolled at Victoria College in 2018 with the goal of pursuing a career as an Instrumentation Technician. I graduated in 2022 with an Associate Degree and shortly thereafter began my professional career at the San Miguel Power Plant as an Instrumentation Technician. After a successful year in that role, I accepted an opportunity closer to home with Invista, where I currently work as an I&E Technician.
In my current position, I am responsible for ensuring that all critical instrumentation remains in proper working condition. My duties include calibrating and inspecting switches and transmitters, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting solenoid valves, RTDs, thermocouples, and other field instruments. I am proficient in reading and interpreting diagrams and schematics to diagnose and resolve instrumentation and electrical issues.
I have also successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology and am eager to pursue new job opportunities where I can apply my technical skills, continue learning, and grow professionally. I am a responsible, open-minded individual who is motivated to expand my knowledge and contribute long-term value to a company.
