I would layout roads and trackbeds using the trimble gps. I operated the auto level to also make sure the base on the road was on elevation.

I worked on perfecting on setting up a backsite on control points. I would use a mini prism, range pole and grade rod when doing checkouts. I started to get familiar and getting hands on the trimble total station.

I would operate the S7 and S5 Trimble Total Station and calculate and measure coordinate lines. I have also done checkouts for pedestals, footers, octagons, cooling tower walls, pipe and plumb steel/vessels. I have also worked on running and throwing control points. I also have experience in operating the auto level to measure elevations and to run level loops. For a small amout of time I did gain experince on underground survey which was laying and checking out catch basins and pipe.
