Now that I have completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology in 3.5 years and 9 out of 15 hours necessary to complete the Addictions and Substance Abuse Counseling Graduate Certificate, I am focused on completing my next goal. I am seeking admission to my first choice school in USF's Master's program in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling for the 2023 Fall semester. I am a dedicated student with compassion, empathy, curiosity, and a passion to help others.

Volunteer Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line

• Completed 30 hours of training in developing reflexive listening, collaborative problem-solving, and crisis-management skills.
• Commitment to complete at least 200 hours of crisis counseling with at least 4 hours being volunteered per week.
• Provided free mental health service through crisis intervention via text message.

Relevant Coursework from USF Addictions and Substance Abuse Counseling Graduate Certificate Program

• Completed 9 out of 15 credits necessary to complete the graduate certificate in Addictions and Substance Abuse Counseling. Currently registered for the last two classes in Spring 2023 semester.

Multiple Mission trips from 2015-2021 in the following states: 

New York, South Carolina, Louisiana, Tennessee

• Construction work such as painting, roofing, and installing drywall.
