ATLAS (Advanced Threat Allocation Strategy) Team
ATLAS Officers screen high risk secured areas to conduct screening upon vetted individuals, search and inspect aircraft for tampering and possible threats, and provide visual deterance patrols on airport grounds. This is done by incorporating Intelligence, Data, Scientific Algorithms, and explosive expertise. ATLAS enables larger more effective screening with fewer officers.
PSS (Passenger Support Specialist)
The TSA PSS Program is designed to train and equip officers with higher cultural awareness and Disabilities awareness so that they may properly support those that need additional assistance processing through security checkpoints.
