I am a highly motivated Firefighter with 19 years experience in the wildland, medical, and fire service. I have obtained a variety of in-depth knowledge and experience in the demands of a career and paid-call fire department.
I have knowledge and experience in the operations and administrative levels of the fire service.
I have served in various positions including, but not limited to:
Wildland Firefighter, Firefighter/EMT Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. ADO Engineer Pumper Operator, ADO Engineer Aerial Operator, Fulltime Fire Captain, and Paid On-Call Assistant Chief.
I have served as Incident Commander at the Captains level and also at the Chief Officer level on many emergencies. This includes Incident Commander (when needed), Support Officer, Safety Officer, Division Supervisor, Group Supervisor, and more.
Safety in the medical and fire service is my number one priority! Not only for the public who we serve, but for "All" First Responders! I believe I have the ability to think quickly and work under extreme pleasure.
Maintain and check off emergency equipment daily.
Respond on all medical, fire, and all hazards.
Complete medical and fire reports.
Assist with other needs such as construction of station, repairs on apparatus, and instructing.
Safely led and managed a 5 man crew for 10 years.
Respond and make a positive impact on all emergencies.
Maintain day to day operations including daily checks.
Complete business, hydrants, and hose inspections.
Maintain a schedule and daily roster.
Maintain a budget and complete multiple administrative duties that a Battalion Chief and Assistant Chief would usually do.

Report to duty at the beginning of each shift.
Check off and maintain ambulance, engines, and truck.
Respond when pager alerted.
Fill the roles of Firefighter/EMT, Engineer, and Captain (Did test and promote through each rank advancement).
Worked between 10-20 shifts per month.
Serve as state liaison for local resources.
Serve as Incident Commander on all minor and major fires.
Maintain a first response pump and truck.
Work with public daily on fire mitigation plans.
Maintain and check off Type 3 heavy brush engine.
Serve as a Class B Sawyer and Faller on fires.
Serve as a wildland firefighter for extinguishment.
Maintain all fire equipment and hoses.
