Masterminded the creation of a Freddy's Steakburgers franchise with my father, mostly in the Houston area. Grew the company to 15+ restaurants until last year when we sold it. Learned over the years that Franchise ownership requires close supervision of management and specific attention to the state of individual locations to maintain customer satisfation. Did undercover burger runs to assess physical locations. Recently sold one of our other physical commercial locations to Starbucks. Currenly SOLKIM associates and our related LLCs are focused on mutual funds and the like but we still own some real estate. In the future I intend to get more into residential real estate, likely at the next market reset.

Responsible for customer relations and marketing. Also responsible for doing estimates and on-site assessments for customers. Traveled a lot around the NY-NJ area doing estimates. Would also be a Foreman jobs when the boss had to be on-site somewhere else.

• Checked equipment to determine if maintenance was required.

Responsible for collecting and trailering high end stone pavers from the factory to job sites. Responsible for making sure heavy loads were loaded and secured safely. Had to know how to operate numerous types of vehicles in the construction yard, from large dump trucks to excavators to the steam roller. Would often be in charge of delivering vehicles to work sites. Also learned some basics on paver laying and hardscape techniques. Learned how to interact with customers and resolve issues on the fly while regularly updating the boss. I was often the first person on-site on a new job and thus the first person to have to deal with any customer issues.
