During my internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, I led key experiments involving the recombinant production and AKTA FPLC purification of nanodisc proteins targeting Kidney Injury Molecule-1 (KIM-1), a critical renal biomarker. I executed molecular biology techniques including PCR, plasmid prep, protein quantification, and silver staining, contributing to translational biomarker discovery. Additionally, I analyzed over 100 high-resolution confocal microscopy images using ImageJ, and I supported data interpretation and scientific presentations. My work directly supported the advancement of kidney injury diagnostics, with both technical precision and cross-functional research collaboration.
