I am presently enrolled in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at Long Island University, where I am maintaining a GPA of 3.80. I expect to complete my studies and graduate from Long Island University by May 2025 with the goal of obtaining a DVM degree. As a highly motivated individual, I am eager to embrace new challenges and bring forth a strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills. I am skilled at working independently and have a knack for quickly mastering new skills.
During my undergraduate studies with honors, I had the privilege of crafting an honors thesis under the guidance of Dr. Cecily Bishop at Oregon State University. The title of my thesis is "Kit Ligand Effect on Growth of Bovine Follicles in Culture and the effect of Kit Ligand on the Function of Theca Cells." My thesis statement is "The effects of kit ligand replacement will be observed on the growth of bovine follicles in novel matrix-free 3D culture using round bottom low attachment plates, and their effect on the formation and function of the theca cell layer in those follicles."
