
Aircraft Maintenance Technician Engineer with hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, small UAS/drone manufacturing, component-level assembly, wiring, harness routing, circuit-board programming/flashing, inspection, and functional testing. Experienced working in fast-paced aerospace R&D environments where precision, quality, repeatability, and adherence to technical procedures are critical.
Strong ability to interpret and follow work instructions, perform in-process and final inspections, identify hardware discrepancies, execute quality buyoffs, and collaborate with engineers and production leadership to improve assembly processes and work instructions. Additional aerospace manufacturing experience with fiberglass, thermoplastic, and carbon-fiber components.
Precision: Experienced working with small aerospace components where proper assembly, routing, inspection, and testing are critical.
Quality: Strong inspection background with experience identifying discrepancies and completing quality buyoffs.
Technical Adaptability: Comfortable learning new hardware, processes, tools, and work instructions in an R&D environment.
Engineering Collaboration: Experienced communicating with engineers and leadership to improve processes and increase repeatability.
Aerospace Experience: Combination of current aerospace R&D/UAS assembly experience and previous aircraft interior manufacturing experience.
