Summary

Being an enthusiast in the field of Biology and Chemistry, I have completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences from one of the reputed universities in India. My problem analysis, logical reasoning and strike at problem attitude has supported me to progress towards my bachelor’s and master’s degree. Due to family circumstances, I was on break until recent times and I have resumed my professional career now. My short-term goal is to graduate from Masters in Biomedical Sciences, which i am currently enrolled in. My long-term goal is to join a research program, apply my knowledge and gain practical experience to advance in my career.

Project Title: Design and In-Vitro Evaluation of Novel Nicorandil Sustained Release Matrix Tablets Based on Combination of Hydrophilic and Hydrophobic Matrix System

Description: Hydrophilic Matrix of HPMC (Polymer) alone could not control the Nicorandil (anti-anginal drug) release effectively for 24 hours. The project involves the preparation of Hydrophilic polymer and Hydrophobic polymer which are better system for once daily sustained release of highly water-soluble drug like Nicorandil with formulations exhibiting diffusion dominated drug release.
