While working at Rivers Casino and Resort, my job duties as a Steakhouse host included greeting and seating guest upon arrival. Host duties also included taking orders from customers who wished to put in to go orders. While at Rivers Casino and resort, I also worked as a cocktail server. As a cocktail server, duties included greeting costumers who are actively on the game floor and taking drink orders from those customers. Other duties included assisting guests with questions on different specials going in within the casino. April 2022, I became union delegate for the beverage department. I enjoyed being able to provide my co workers with important information pertaining to their job duties. I also believe that it was important to have consistent positive communication with upper management and being a union delegate kept communication with management consistent.
