• Assures Hyperbaric chamber emergency air-breathing set-ups are appropriate for the number of personnel who are in the chamber (Applicable at facilities with hyperbaric chambers)
• Assists and monitors patients undergoing hyperbaric therapy at facilities with hyperbaric chambers as needed
• At facilities with multi-place hyperbaric chambers, monitors patients within the hyperbaric chamber for duration of treatment, including but not limited to equalization of ear pressure and prevention of barotraumas, donning and removing
• Identifies, reports, provides care and documents patient problems in collaboration with the physicians, nurses, and the technical staff
• Submits invoices to clients/patients for unpaid co-pays and insurance deductible amounts

Administrative duties when necessary

• Accurately document patient information in Electronic Health Record
• Maintains the HBO schedule: schedules appointments; assists with appointment reminders; adjusts schedule as needed
• Communicates all schedule changes with the Clinic manager and/or Provider
• Leads insurance pre-authorization and re-authorization process and completes checklist for each HBOT/potential HBOT client
• Provided comprehensive patient care by assisting with wound care procedures and other adjunct therapies in conjunction with hyperbaric treatments.
• Promoted teamwork among clinic staff by actively participating in interdisciplinary meetings focused on patient care planning and improvement initiatives.

• Monitored, reviewed and updated exception, delinquent and matured loan reports; ensuring timely member billing and loan payment were processed
• Ensured all procedures regarding account sweeps, member notifications and collection notes were followed
• Updated all member accounts within established timeframes to achieve maximum collection of past due debts
• Assisted customers with their inquiries via inbound & outbound calls as well as email correspondence
