Results-driven former doctor with a strong background in human biology and anatomy, seeking a teaching position in science education. Focused on cultivating critical thinking, scientific literacy, and student curiosity through inquiry-based learning and interactive instruction.

• While substituting, participated in the AVID program at the Early College High School in Tyler, TX, teaching freshmen how to develop and present a tutorial question where their peers could use Bloom’s taxonomy questions to find answers.
• Taught freshmen pre-professional students in anatomy and physiology classes with labs in a private college in KY for three semesters.
• Managed an outpatient Suboxone clinic as part of the rural health care clinic in KY to help patients break free of opiate addiction.
• Started a private practice in internal medicine when living in Knoxville, TN with both inpatients and outpatients.
