Shanaya Zohrabi

Supervised hands-on field experience and a part of TWISPP sessions, involving weekly intervention planning, progress note documentation, and development of RAM charts with clinical hypotheses. Administered assessments for individual clients.

Completed clinical rotations across ortho, neuro, pediatrics, psychiatry, and community rehab. Conducted assessments, set SMART goals, developed treatment plans, made splints, and drafted OT evaluation reports.

Observed multidisciplinary departments including OT, Speech, Aquatic Therapy, SI, ABA, and Clinical Psychology. Gained insights into child development and therapeutic interventions for children with CP, autism, and intellectual disabilities. Witnessed the SRCC team’s positive impact on families.

Worked alongside experienced OTs treating children with CP, autism, and intellectual disabilities. Participated in group therapy, case discussions, and rehab planning. Explored therapeutic use of digital games (PlayStation/Wii) for cognitive and perceptual skills. Engaged in parent interactions and discussed challenges faced by older individuals with autism.
