My role at Advanced Termite and Pest Control was multifaceted. I would investigate leads, often going against competitors' proposals. My closing rate at the time of departure was 57%. I also ran a full route Monday through Friday, giving excellent customer service and upselling to current customers. I was also responsible for marketing. I joined a local Business Networking International "BNI" marketing group, becoming one of the founding members of this group and helped it achieve full chapter. I adjusted my schedule to accommodate the BNI meeting every Wednesday morning, prior to my full route. Lastly, I assisted with customer retention - troubleshooting issues and problem-solving, while providing excellent customer service. My primary goal was creating new accounts, gaining new business, and preventing the loss of any accounts.

My role as Project Consultant had three major areas of focus. My primary role was sales. I would perform a thorough interior inspection of the home and/or a crawl space inspection identifying either visible mold colonization or via lift tape and air quality testing. I would create a chain of custody and ship samples to the lab, await results, and discuss those results in detail with the homeowner. I would build a comprehensive estimate for mold remediation following IICRC protocols and provide it to the homeowner. Services sold include: encapsulation systems, vapor barriers, mold remediation, and various individualized projects specific to each home. I would develop a working relationship with the homeowner to navigate the project and maintain contact through project completion. My secondary role was marketing the company's services by visiting realty offices to conduct Lunch & Learn education regarding safe home environments and healthy crawl spaces. My third focus was follow up and maintenance. Weekly follow up and quarterly maintenance checks were conducted to ensure continued client safety and satisfaction with the project's completion and providing follow up air quality testing.

In the Home Evaluator role I would perform home inspections per state regulation for homes being bought/sold. The walking level and substructure of the home were thoroughly inspected for termites and all wood destroying organisms. An official state report of the findings would be presented to the real estate agents/homeowners and a rapport maintained to ensure timely resolution of issues.

As a pest control tech I earned the Chairman's Club for exceptional sales in the region selling termite bonds, Sentricon bait stations and all other pest services offered by Stark.

At IFA Rotarian I was a machine operator for the Ford line producing various drives shafts. I quickly achieved and maintained certification and proficiency on a variety of eleven machines - including balancers that were most difficult and could only be managed by the most qualified. My duties included set up of machines, change overs, maintaining the integrity of the parts in production with limited mistakes, and keeping waste to a minimum.

The Urban Electric Company is a leading and highly sought after high end lighting firm. As a graduated Artisan for the Urban Electric Company I had to be an expert in the finishing process for a large array of lighting fixtures. I maintained proficiency in all techniques to include: hand buffing on a high powered buffer, sonic cleaning of brass or copper pieces and whole fixtures; as well as, acid baths and nickeling by way of electroplating. Other finishes include: oxidation, hand painting and powder coating. After finally assembly, I evaluated the entirety of the piece to ensure the product was near flawless and met all standards. I earned head artisan and craftsman of a new department that addressed client issues with prompt turnaround, advised the sales team on procedures, and served as resource person regarding technique and skills.
