Volunteer work

Over the years, I have dedicated countless hours of volunteer work to my children's K-8 schools. My work includes serving on two Parent Teacher Organizations. I acted as the Vice President of the Pacific Union PTO from 2016-2018 and spear-headed a monumental playground improvement project during my term. I have also devoted countless hours helping to plan multiple events and fundraisers through both Pacific Union School and Coastal Grove charter. These various projects utilized many of my skills including organizational, attention to detail, computer and technical, communication and leadership.

I have also devoted many volunteer hours over the years to fostering animals through Companion Animal Foundation. My family and I have experience with bottle feeding orphaned kittens, taming shy semi-feral kittens/cats, and also recently fostered a Mom dog and her 5 newborn babies from birth to adoption age. My passion for animal welfare and deep love for animals has been in my heart and soul since I was a child.
