Shannon Smith

• I recently graduated from the Training Center of Central Texas Comprehensive Clinical Medical Assisting (CCMA) program where I had hands on training performing clinical duties, taking and recording vital signs, providing patient care, performing EKG’s, drawing blood and collecting specimens, administering injections and other related procedures within the scope of a medical assistant. This program consists of 440 hours of accelerated classroom training with emphasis on skills mastery through hands-on practice for laboratory procedures and administrative duties. Upon completion of the program, I was Nationally Certified in accordance with the National Healthcare Association (NHA) in four major medical areas of concentration. Training in wide range of office administration tasks. I am able to work under pressure and collaboration with a team. Enthusiastic. Professionalism is very important to me. I am a hardworking employee that is happy about learning the field inside and out. I am eager to pursue opportunities to learn new skills and contribute to group success. I Offer strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities. My goal is to gain valuable knowledge in the medical field and apply my skills to provide the best medical support for our patients. I am also a graduate of Elite Nurse Aide Training.
• Over the past 9 years my additional medical experience includes Certified Medication Aide/Medication Technician, and CNA Assisted living.
