Registered Nurse working on a ventilator respiratory unit with acute patients. The Progressive Ventilator Stepdown Unit PVSU an 8 bed unit that is telemetry capable and provides care to adults with complex multi systems problems and have difficulties weaning off the ventilator or have respiratory issues that require increased nursing and respiratory support, and split with Medical Surgical unit with 6 patients on the other side.
