Shanyah McGirt

I'm a trustworthy and driven undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I'm working toward a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I have a strong passion for taking care of animals, so my long-term goal is to work in the veterinary field. I'm searching for work opportunities that will allow me to support myself while attending college and provide me with hands-on experience. I have excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills from my previous positions at the YMCA and the Weatherspoon Art Museum. Whether I was interacting with visitors, keeping an eye on galleries, or watching over kids, I always prioritized creating environments that were engaging, safe, and welcoming. I work effectively both on my own and with others, and I'm always prepared to pick up new skills, adjust, and develop. I'm excited to contribute to positions that fit with my values and long-term career goals because I bring energy, compassion, and a strong work ethic to everything I do.
