Teaches classes on TV script development. The class is conducted as a mock writer's room where students pitch and develop ideas for episodic television. Each student, with the support of the teacher and fellow students, "breaks", outlines and then writes the pilot episode of a TV show of their creation over the course of the semester.
Conducts graduate workshops in creative writing, giving feedback and guidance through the creative process. Assigns writing prompts designed to inspire flow and creativity, while fostering a nurturing environment for MFA candidates to share and evolve as writers.
