Logged patient information and recorded results into system. Worked on the front lines during entirety of pandemic. Trained all new employees for PCR/ blood testing for COVID-19 in numerous health care and other facilities such as churches, YMCA, health fairs, Jails, any place that requested covid testing. Also maintained facilities with needed supplies for daily testing. Provided coverage wherever and whenever needed. Daily specs and operations reported to upper management. Established and maintained positive working relationships between clinical personnel and staff at facilities. Participated in daily updates of virus and new findings to keep staff safe with PPE compliance and education. After the pandemic I took a Lab Assistant position in Toxicology Department. Current duties include entering into LIS patient data and other private patient information. Set up plates for extraction for JANUS. SOP that occur daily in the lab setting. Constant continued education and testing in order to stay up to date on all lab reporting, compliance and procedures.
