I am an experienced and versatile educator with a proven ability to guide diverse groups of learners through all phases of an academic year. I strive to balance my instruction in a manner where a nurturing classroom environment leads to high levels of student success. Rigor must not come at the sacrifice of social and emotional wellbeing, but high expectations can be met by all students who feel safe and supported. I hope to return to a self-contained environment where my strengths in curriculum design and classroom management can be put to full use while building meaningful relationships with my students.
