Tower Painter/Ground Hand
6 Months- Climb transmission towers safely on PG&E properties.
- Perform tower rescue on tower.
- Wear all PPE required by PG&E safety.
- Mixed paints, primers, and coatings to match specifications and project requirements.
- Followed safety procedures for ladders, lifts, solvents, and confined work areas.
- Drive work trucks safely and follow all DOT procedures & pass DOT drug test and screening.
- Ground static line to paint around it safely.
- Assisted crew members with surface preparation, cleanup, and material handling.
- Worked holidays and weekends depending on shifting needs of project.
- Hike in Materials to job location.
- Climb towers up to 200 ft.
Telecom Lineman
10 Months- Assisted with pole setting, wire stringing, and overhead line maintenance under supervision.
