  • Installed and configured multiple Siemens CT scanners, including a unique one-of-one portable CT unit—the only one of its kind in the U.S. at the time.
  • Collaborated closely with the vendor, the vendor's IT team, and our hospital IT team to configure settings and successfully bring the scanner online, overcoming unprecedented technical challenges and ensuring seamless integration with hospital systems.
  • Performed advanced CT preventive and corrective maintenance, including tube changes, detector card replacements, IRS repairs, Syngo software updates, and CT cooler repairs.
  • Created and implemented a 'Scanner Down Time Scenario' protocol for the CT Department, enabling continued scanner use during network outages.
  • Provided networking support (IP configurations, AE Titles, MAC addresses, Modality Worklists, DICOM destinations) to maintain optimal image routing and communication for MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Oncology.
  • Supported Nuclear Medicine and PET departments with equipment calibration, maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Conducted major and minor MRI system repairs, including coil replacements, patient handling tables, cold heads, and TX boxes.
  • Performed helium fills, system upgrades, and coil quality control procedures to ensure operational safety and accuracy.
  • Maintained inventory, coordinated shipping/receiving of parts, and ensured timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Initiated maintenance responsibilities for Radiation Oncology CT scanners, including routine checks and vendor coordination.
